Shisen-do is the temple of the Soto sect which is proud of the garden beauty centering on Poets' Room made by Jozan Ishikawa, Ieyasu Tokugawa's vassal, in 1641 of the Edo period. It is said that Jozan Ishikawa is an expert of making the garden of the Edo period on a par with Enshu Kobori.
